Our window showroom in Normanton, Wakefield
Our showroom is on 71 High Street in Normanton, West Yorkshire, and it’s where most customer projects start. It’s set up so you can see the products, feel the hardware, compare colours in daylight, and get your questions answered without a sales rep hovering at your shoulder.
No appointment needed. No pressure. No hard sell. Just the products, a coffee, and someone on hand to help if you want them.
Why the showroom matters
Photos online give you about 20% of the information you need to make a decent decision. A showroom visit gives you the rest. Here’s what you can only judge in person.
Colour in real daylight
Printed colour swatches lie. Screen colours lie worse. Anthracite grey looks different on a monitor versus a real uPVC frame under daylight, and the difference matters when it’s the colour you’re going to live with for 25 years.
Weight and feel of hardware
A cheap composite door feels different from a Rockdoor when you swing it open. A quality handle turns smoother. A window lock clicks more positively. You can’t judge this from a brochure.
Sightline width
Frame widths look different in photos than in real life. If you’re comparing aluminium to uPVC sightlines, or Omnia flush sash to a standard casement profile, seeing them side by side in daylight is the only way to really tell.
How mechanisms actually work
Tilt and turn windows have a specific operation that makes more sense when you try it. Bifold door hardware makes more sense when you fold one. Integral blinds make more sense when you see the magnetic slider work.
What’s in the showroom
Windows
Working samples of casement, flush sash, Omnia flush sash, sliding sash, tilt and turn, bay, and aluminium windows. Multiple colour options on display.
Doors
Full-size composite doors in multiple colours and styles. Rockdoor samples. uPVC door options. French door, patio door, and bifold sample sections. Heritage aluminium door samples
Conservatory and orangery roofs
Sample sections of the Equinox warm roof, the Korniche roof lantern, and glass roof options so you can see how each finishes internally.
Colours and finishes
Physical colour swatches for every standard range plus printed references for the extended RAL palette.
Hardware
Handles, letter plates, knockers, locks, numerals, and spy-holes in every finish we commonly fit. You can pick them up, try the action, and compare side by side.
Glass samples
Clear, obscured, decorative, leaded, Georgian bar effects, and acoustic glass samples.
How a typical showroom visit goes
Most visits take between 20 minutes and an hour, depending on how much you want to see and how ready you are to make decisions.
- Arrive when suits you, during showroom opening hours. No appointment needed unless you want a specific person waiting.
- Have a look around at your own pace. The displays are organised by product category and clearly labelled.
- Ask questions if you want, or don’t, if you’d rather browse quietly. Our team is on hand but not pushing.
- See the products you’re specifically interested in with someone who can walk you through the choices and options.
- Take measurements home if you need them, or book a free home survey for a proper quote.
- Leave when you’re ready. No “let me get my manager” at the door. No last-minute discount pitch. Just thanks for coming in.

Come with questions, leave with answers
If you’re at the very start of a project and don’t know a casement from a flush sash, that’s completely fine. We’ll start from the beginning and walk you through whatever is useful. If you already know exactly what you want and just need to see it before committing, that’s fine too. We’ll let you see it properly and get out of your way.
What to bring
Helpful if you have it. Not essential.
- Photos of the windows or doors you want replaced (inside and outside)
- Rough measurements of the openings (width and height)
- A photo of the front of the house for context
- Any inspiration images from magazines, Pinterest, or other properties
- Your postcode so we can check service area and lead times
If you arrive with nothing but questions, that’s also perfectly fine. Most people do.
