Doors across Yorkshire

A new front door is the most visible upgrade you can make to a home, and the most scrutinised. It’s the first thing visitors see, the last thing you touch when you leave, and the one thing a thief will actually try to break through. It matters more than most homeowners give it credit for.

We fit every style of door for West Yorkshire homes: composite front doors, uPVC back doors, French doors, sliding patios, bifolds, and heritage-style aluminium doors. We’re a Rockdoor installer and we fit Chubb locks as standard on most of our ranges.

Which door should you choose?

A few shortcuts based on what most Yorkshire homeowners come to us for.

Front door replacement

Composite, almost always. If you want the best: Rockdoor or our Premium Collection. If you want value: a standard composite range. uPVC front doors are fine for some properties but composite is generally the better buy for the front of the house.

Back door

uPVC is usually the sensible choice for a back door, where weathering and everyday kicks and scuffs matter more than showing off. Composite if you want one door finish consistent around the house.

French doors or sliding patios. French doors suit traditional properties and smaller openings. Sliding patios suit modern extensions and wider openings.

Bifold doors. Three, four, five, or six leaves depending on the opening width. Aluminium is almost always the right specification.

Security is not optional

Break-ins usually happen through doors, not windows. Getting the door right matters.

Every door we fit comes with:

Multi-point locking as standard

Chubb locks on most ranges

Secured by Design accreditation on qualifying products

PAS 24 compliance where applicable

Internally glazed panels so glass can’t be lifted out from outside

We won’t cut corners on security specification. If you ask us to specify a door to a lower standard, we’ll tell you why we recommend otherwise.

Colours, finishes, and glass panels

Most of our door ranges share the same colour and finish palette as our windows. Anthracite grey, black, chartwell green, cream, Irish oak, and any RAL colour on aluminium. Dual colour (different inside and outside) is standard on composite doors.

Glass panels are where you can really personalise a door. Decorative, obscured, etched, stained, leaded, or clear. Traditional or contemporary, frosted for privacy or clear for light.

Yes. We’re a Rockdoor installer and we can take you through the full door designer journey.

  • What’s the best door for security?
