Doors across Yorkshire
A new front door is the most visible upgrade you can make to a home, and the most scrutinised. It’s the first thing visitors see, the last thing you touch when you leave, and the one thing a thief will actually try to break through. It matters more than most homeowners give it credit for.
We fit every style of door for West Yorkshire homes: composite front doors, uPVC back doors, French doors, sliding patios, bifolds, and heritage-style aluminium doors. We’re a Rockdoor installer and we fit Chubb locks as standard on most of our ranges.
The door range

Composite Doors
The best-selling door in the UK for a reason. A solid insulated core, a realistic timber-effect outer skin, and security built in as standard. We fit ranges from a wide choice of colours, glass panels, and hardware finishes.

Composite Doors Premium Collection
Our high-end composite door range for homeowners who want the best. Thicker slab, premium finishes, upgraded hardware, and a wider colour palette. Door designer journey available so you can see exactly what you’re buying before you order.

Rockdoors
The brand-led high-security composite door. Rockdoor have built their reputation on solid, serious, security-first doors that test well in real-world conditions. We’re a Rockdoor installer with full design access.

uPVC Doors
Cost-effective, low-maintenance uPVC doors for front, back, and side entries. Available in the same colours and finishes as our window ranges, with proper locking and weather sealing.

French Doors
Two opening leaves meeting in the middle. Popular on rear elevations leading out to gardens, patios, or conservatories. Available in uPVC, flush (Omnia), and aluminium.

Sliding Patio Doors
Two or three-track sliding doors for homeowners who want the indoor-outdoor connection without the inward swing of French doors. Available in uPVC and slim-profile aluminium.

Bifold Doors
Folding doors that concertina back against the wall, opening up a full wall of the house to the garden. Usually three to six leaves, available in aluminium for slim sightlines.

Heritage Style Doors
Steel-look aluminium heritage doors for period properties, modern conversions, and homeowners who want the 1920s crittall aesthetic with modern performance. Suitable for internal and external use.
Which door should you choose?
A few shortcuts based on what most Yorkshire homeowners come to us for.
Front door replacement
Composite, almost always. If you want the best: Rockdoor or our Premium Collection. If you want value: a standard composite range. uPVC front doors are fine for some properties but composite is generally the better buy for the front of the house.
Back door
uPVC is usually the sensible choice for a back door, where weathering and everyday kicks and scuffs matter more than showing off. Composite if you want one door finish consistent around the house.
Garden access from a kitchen or living room
French doors or sliding patios. French doors suit traditional properties and smaller openings. Sliding patios suit modern extensions and wider openings.
Opening up a full wall to the garden
Bifold doors. Three, four, five, or six leaves depending on the opening width. Aluminium is almost always the right specification.
Period property or contemporary renovation
Heritage style aluminium for the crittall look. French doors in flush Omnia for Victorian terraces.

Security is not optional
Break-ins usually happen through doors, not windows. Getting the door right matters.
Every door we fit comes with:
Multi-point locking as standard
Chubb locks on most ranges
Secured by Design accreditation on qualifying products
PAS 24 compliance where applicable
Internally glazed panels so glass can’t be lifted out from outside
We won’t cut corners on security specification. If you ask us to specify a door to a lower standard, we’ll tell you why we recommend otherwise.
Colours, finishes, and glass panels
Most of our door ranges share the same colour and finish palette as our windows. Anthracite grey, black, chartwell green, cream, Irish oak, and any RAL colour on aluminium. Dual colour (different inside and outside) is standard on composite doors.
Glass panels are where you can really personalise a door. Decorative, obscured, etched, stained, leaded, or clear. Traditional or contemporary, frosted for privacy or clear for light.

Door FAQs
How long does a door installation take?
A single front door replacement usually takes a few hours on site. Bifold and sliding patio installs can take a day or two depending on the opening and structural work involved.
Do you fit Rockdoors?
Yes. We’re a Rockdoor installer and we can take you through the full door designer journey.
What’s the best door for security?
A Rockdoor or a Secured by Design-accredited composite door from our Premium Collection. Both specifications test well in real-world break-in scenarios.
Can I pick the exact hardware?
Yes. Handles, letter plates, knockers, spyholes, numerals, and finishes are all configurable.
Are your doors covered by a guarantee?
Yes, most of our doors come with a 10-year guarantee* and we’ll explain exactly what’s covered before you order.
Come and see the doors
Photos don’t do a composite door justice. Come to the Normanton showroom and feel the weight of a Rockdoor, try the handles, and compare colours in daylight.
