Veka flush sash windows — the Omnia range

Omnia is the premium flush sash range from Veka. Thinner sightlines, tighter tolerances, a wider palette of colours and finishes, and a smarter hardware system than most mainstream flush sash options. It’s the window we recommend when a homeowner wants the heritage look without compromise.
We’re a Veka installer for the Omnia range and we’ve fitted it across West Yorkshire on restoration projects, conservation area replacements, and contemporary builds where a premium finish matters.
What makes Omnia different
Photos online give you about 20% of the information you need to make a decent decision. A showroom visit gives you the rest. Here’s what you can only judge in person.
Thinner sightlines
Less frame, more glass. The Omnia profile is noticeably slimmer than most mainstream flush sash casements, which means better light in and a more elegant look from outside. On a terraced street where every window is different, Omnia tends to be the one that looks right.
Smart hardware
Concealed hinges, tight weather seals, and locking mechanisms that work the way hardware should: quietly, reliably, and for years. Hardware is where cheaper windows usually fail first. Omnia specifies properly.
Colour and finish range
Omnia’s colour options go well beyond standard. Any RAL colour, textured finishes, dual-colour options, and specialist heritage shades that older properties often need. The woodgrain effects are some of the most convincing on the market.
A proper warranty
Veka back the Omnia range with a manufacturer’s warranty, and our install adds a 10-year guarantee* on top. We’ll talk you through exactly what each covers before you order.
Who Omnia suits
This isn’t the budget choice. It’s the right choice when:
- You own a period property and a standard flush sash profile isn’t quite slim enough.
- You’re in a conservation area and the planning officer has specific requirements.
- You’re restoring a Victorian or Edwardian property and the windows are visible from the street.
- You’re building or renovating a contemporary home and want a flush sash in anthracite, black, or a statement RAL colour.
- You’re investing in your forever home and want the frames to last decades without looking dated.
If budget is the main driver and the profile isn’t critical, a standard flush sash or a well-specced casement will serve you just as well.
Colours, finishes and glazing
Omnia’s range is where the premium story really shows. Highlights:
- Heritage colours: chartwell green, sage, agate grey, quartz grey, anthracite, pure white, cream
- Woodgrain finishes: Irish oak, golden oak, mahogany, winchester, light oak, walnut
- RAL colours on request
- Dual colour inside and out
- Textured matt finishes that hide minor surface wear and resist fade
- Glazing options: double or 40mm triple glazing, acoustic, toughened, leaded, decorative
Hardware finishes include brushed chrome, black, antique bronze, gold, and traditional monkey-tail options. All sourced to suit the period of the property.
Proper fit, proper finish
We don’t treat Omnia like a standard job. The tolerances are tighter and the finish expectations are higher. Every Omnia install gets:
- A detailed pre-install survey with photos and measurements
- Protection of floors and surrounding décor
- Careful removal of existing frames to avoid brick or stone damage
- Precision fitting with level and plumb checks on every sash
- Final clean-down and a walk-through with you before we leave
One to three days on site for most properties. Every install is FENSA-signed off. 10-year installation guarantee* on top of the Veka product warranty.
Where we fit Omnia
All across West and South Yorkshire: Wakefield, Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate, York, Huddersfield, Halifax, Barnsley, Doncaster, and the surrounding towns and villages.
Omnia tends to be most popular in Harrogate, Ilkley, Wetherby, and the stone-built Pennine villages where the street scene matters.
Omnia FAQs
Is Omnia only for period properties?
No. It works beautifully on modern homes in anthracite, grey, or a statement colour. Period properties are where it’s most needed, but the range suits contemporary use too.
How does Omnia compare to timber?
Visually, very close. Thermally, better. Maintenance-wise, no comparison. A well-fitted Omnia flush sash will outlast a timber window by decades and never needs sanding or repainting.
Can I see Omnia in the showroom?
Yes. Come to our Normanton showroom and see the profile, feel the weight, and compare it against standard flush sash and casement options in daylight.
Does it cost more than a standard flush sash?
Yes, typically. The premium specification, the wider colour range, and the tighter tolerances cost more to make. We’ll give you a written quote with both options so you can compare.
